On April 11, 2012 by admin

It was a big time for the country songstress Taylor Swift. She would probably be flying high in the sky after receiving the entertainer of the year award consecutively for the second time at Academy of the Country Music Awards on Sunday 1st April 2012.

But that wasn’t that. The award came just 24 hours after she was honored by first lady Michelle Obama with the Big Help Award at Kids’ choice Awards on Saturday.

The sensational and successful singer is also an active socialite who is generously working for the upbringing of children.

Taylor who always kept it simple and sophisticated when it comes about styling donned a halter neck nude gown for the Saturday event and switched to a white cutout gown with gold accent waves for the Academy of the Country Music Awards event.

She was appealing and presentable at both the events. Mrs. Obama addressed her as a great socialite. She said, “Taylor Swift may be in the news for the award winning songs but every step of the way she has always given back.” The first lady added, “She’s supported children’s charities, worked to fight bullying and given over tens of thousands of books to schools and libraries across the country.”

Well, what Taylor has given to the music world and to the society, these awards are just a small token of acknowledgements for that. Congratulations Taylor Swift! We are hoping to hear more of your music.
